Music Instructional This class is designed for toddlers, pre-schoolers and elementary age children. In this music class children engage their minds and bodies through a variety of music activities. They will learn rhythmic rhymes, participate in instrumental jam sessions and movement activities. Lessons include: Vocal play, sounds and rhythm play. Children are introduced to basic musical notation and a variety of instruments, such as guitar, the flutes, keyboards, and percussion. They will act out stories, play singing games, and learn to use movement & music in meaningful ways.

Group Guitar Students will learn the basics of playing the guitar. Kids will first be introduced to the Ukulele to prepare them for guitar. They will also learn to read standard notation as well as tablature and chord symbols, melody, rhythm, technique, solo and group playing. Ukuleles can be provided for a small fee, or children may bring their own!

Music Sing-a-long Every session includes a time where the kids move to the rhythm of the music as they shake-out-their-sillies or do the "Twist" or a fun "Freeze Dance"! Traditional sing-along songs - Good old fashioned songs such as Old Mac Donald, Yankee Doodle, ABC's, Mary Had a Little Lamb and many more! Action and Movement Activities - which encourage gross motor skills in a structured manner such as Head & Shoulders Knees & Toes or many other great tunes!
